Shelling Out

Rain filling up the lake and wetland. I had to tread carefully to avoid filling my shoes. A few of these shells had washed up, along with the general detritus produced by winter's ravages. I could only reach this one without wellies.

Although my camera is weatherproof, I'm not sure about the lcd screen, which I had flipped out to frame this shot because I held the camera low down. Fingers crossed.
