Pollen-packed

What a beautiful day, although I regretted my shorts and lack of warmer clothing when I went out, there was a nippy breeze. 

Loved watching this bee getting itself absolutely smothered with pollen from the pussy willow. I also enjoyed watching a great spotted woodpecker drumming in the woods. 

S's mum is in hospital with a suspected (small) heart attack. She's had lots of tests through the day but 12 hours on from her arrival and she's still in a corridor waiting for a bed, bless her.
