Hello up there

Amazingly, all my aching joints from yesterdays gardening weren't any worse today so I got on and finished what I'd been working on. I got S removing all the slate fragments over the front lawn before the grass starts growing again.  

Got a few odd bits of work done and also got in plenty of reading. And just like that my free weekend is over. 

Despite having a new roof, the sparrows don't seem to have had any problems getting in underneath to make their nests this year. We had a beautiful nuthatch dotting about outside the kitchen window this morning but annoyingly my phone was upstairs at the time so the sparrow will have to do.
