Dull

The light today has, like me, been too tired to keep its eyes open. Dull, flat and tedious. I have travelled through several photogenic places today but you wouldn't know it from what's come out of my camera this evening. Admittedly a lot of my pictures have a haze of train window in front of them, but they are even duller than you would expect from that.

I changed trains at Bristol Temple Meads (where I took my blip - not through a train window, despite appearances) so I walked to Firstborn's new office nearby and we ate lunch together outdoors on their sixth floor terrace. It's reassuring that despite having spent time together each of the last four weekends we still have things to talk about.

I am now in St Austell in Cornwall starting my first ever bus-pass holiday, something I've been wanting to try ever since my age entitled me to a free bus pass. So far, only one bus, from the station to where I'm staying.
