Palermo holiday - yey!

An early start for the 7 am flight to Palermo,  Sicily.  We checked in and met up with our friends in the airport without any hitches.  Highlight of the flight was the view of the French coastline and the beautiful Alps (see extra).

The Italian border control was very friendly and keen to teach me how to say prego and grazzi. We dashed for the train and 30 minutes later we were in Palermo on the short walk to the hotel. A lovely room with a balcony and a lovely view ... see blip. 

After freshening up we went in search of cannelloni, a favourite of H's. The buildings in Palermo are all beautiful with the apartments all having Juliette balconies. So much to discover.
