Sanctuary

A trip to Perth Theatre to see Ross Ainslie & The Sanctuary Band.  Ross Ainslie plays the pipes, whistles & other instruments and is from Perthshire. He used to play for the Vale of Atholl (our local pipe band).

He and band was mainly playing songs from their latest album, Pool - an interesting mix/fusion of traditional music with jazz funk and other styles. I enjoyed it - all the musicians were really good and clearly enjoying what they were doing which is always a joy to see. They were joined for their encore by Katie, the Wheeled Piper. 

This morning I walked up Craigower with KK. I always enjoy walking & chatting with KK and I always enjoy going up Craigower with its views of Glencoe.
