Time to go home

Back blip - catching up

After the disruption yesterday (World War 2 bomb found in Paris shut down all Eurostar trains) we heard that the trains were running so all was okay for getting home.

We left Strasbourg at 10:46 heading to Paris, a walk along from Paris Est to Gare du Nord was very easy and well sign posted.

We were a little early so decided to stop for some lunch, we especially enjoyed a very nice glass of wine and sharing a dame blanche for pudding (ice cream and chocolate sauce).

All trains worked well and we got a taxi home so all very stress free.
