Wet all morning, which is fine by me because the garden has been so dry :-)

Mid afternoon I went around the garden in search of today’s Blip:
On the left, looking like a clump of green grass, is Fritillary meleagris - https://www.blipfoto.com/entry/3091448783385397286 - which looks rather sickly but will hopefully perk up after the much needed rain.
On the right is an experiment in growing Yellow Rattle - https://www.blipfoto.com/entry/2916445705042133361 - a pot of yellow rattle seeds growing with grass seeds because the yellow rattle is parasitic and needs grass as a host.

Watched new episodes of “Gardeners’ World” on iPlayer, very grey and chilly afternoon :-(

This evening we watched a film “Serena” on Netflix - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Serena_(2014_film) - beautiful scenery but so many depressing storylines :-((
