Twizel to Norham

A 12 mile circuit from our front door today taking in Twizel Castle, Twizel Bridge (built in 1511 and the longest single span bridge in England for over two centuries), Ladykirk bridge and Norham Castle. The banks of the Tweed were covered with few-flowered garlic, which looked very lush but is apparently invasive.
