5 years...

Five years have passed since the first lockdown happened in the UK and we were told to stay at home.  Five years since daughter #1's partner's Nan died of Covid, the first of a number that we knew to catch it and die.  Five years since I managed to keep a Pandemic Diary here in Blipfoto, every day for the first 500 days.For some that first lockdown brings happy memories, of sunshine weather, bike rides, quiet skies, walks...but not all of us: it was a time of sadness or soon would become so.
The weather here in West Essex is unrelentingly grey, cloudy and gloomy as if in sympathy with those of us who have those less than happy memories.
