Panettone for tea
We received 2 panettone for Christmas and there were just enough crumbs left for the wildlife to have a feast. This fox called into our garden at teatime and stayed and ate and stayed and ate...carefully holding down the paper with a paw. I was able to get a number of photos and I don't think that there was much left for the birds!
There are daffodils and primroses in the background but they don't show enough for me to tag this for Flower Friday.
In other news: I woke to a beautiful sunrise over a very changed view and until the fox arrived thought that this would be my blip(see Extras).
I also woke to the astonishing news that Heathrow Airport would be closed for the remainder of the day as there was a power outage due to a fire at the electricity substation which serves the airport. Heathrow is the busiest airport in Europe and although it is due to open at midnight, it will be days before all the planes and passengers can be relocated to where they should be.
