Up the hill

Looking up past our neighbors' driveway, with the forsythia now in full bloom. March was really blowing around like a lion today. We lost power in the afternoon, which really aggravated the son as he was working on an essay midterm and his laptop wasn't charged. He texted his prof and got the deadline moved to midnight, which now has been achieved.

Writers group this morning, just three of us online, a supportive and constructive group. Spent a little time weeding, as the ground was nice and soft from recent rain. Drove with W to find some painting supplies (after we remembered how to switch the electric garage door opener back to manual, so we could get the car out!), but it was too windy to work on the front step railings. Hopefully a project for tomorrow or Monday. Lots of cat cuddles and a relaxing evening.
