Wetland Wonder

It looked more impressive in my mind's eye than the photo turned out to be. But, you've got to try these things to improve.

I suppose it was the contrasting textures I thought interesting and maybe the shape of the trunk against the mass of reeds. I wanted to include more water, but then I lost the imposing stump, so I decided including the sky helped to balance things. Having the root lead in from the corner seemed important.
