In The Morning . . . Nina Simone

This morning we dropped Chris at the airport.  It has been fun comparing and contrasting life here and life in the Yukon.  Perhaps the best part was getting the map out and looking at the route for a possible road trip.  
I did a small amount of tidying the wild plants and when my back needed a stretch I photographed the Finches on the sunflowers.  It was delightful having the sun on my back and watching their acrobatics to get at the seeds.  I picked this one because the eye is the sharpest.  
Andrew invited us for coffee which meant more sitting in the warm and enjoying the view.  It's a tough life.  I never did get back to the garden.
