Housemartin nest cups

I had a "me day" in Wexford.  Flute group in the morning, breakfast bap for lunch, stitching "group" of just one in the afternoon.  I did go supermarket shopping afterwards, though several of the items on the list were not available. 

When I got home - just in time for the six o'clock gin - W had been very busy all day.  Amongst other things, he put up the housemartin nest cups on the west side of the garage.  We're hoping to encourage nesting, but perhaps give them an alternative to nesting on the house eaves, where they struggle to make a nest as the uPVC sofit isn't easy to stick stuff to, and they do make a big mess.  If we're successful we'll add more cups next year - they like to nest in colonies.
