Daffodils

I'm rather behind, I'm writing this on Friday morning, and I can't remember what I did on Wednesday - not a lot of note. Though I did go to band practice in the evening.

We have daffodils growing on the verge outside our garden - planted by a previous resident.  They do remarkably well despite the fact that the grassy verge is not infrequently used as a road extension.  They are totally invisible from our house, so the best way to take advantage of them is to pick a bunch for in the house.
