Poet

It was Poets Friday today. This is a quarterly meeting held at Torquay Little Theatre Cafe. We read poems on a theme, original work, or by others. Today’s theme was the moon and space. I read ‘the woman in the moon’ by Carol Ann Duffy, and ‘ a Martian sends a postcard home’, by Craig Raine, and one written by me.
I was awarded the poet badge today and it is mine for three months.
