We reach the sea

Today we left our wonderful bed and breakfast, Kuni Masuda, and walked to Yakyō-ji (temple 23). A large temple with a huge red pagoda, and two big camphor trees near the main shrine.

We decided to walk the alternative route from there, noted in the guidebook as “hilly and superb view”. The views over the Pacific Ocean were spectacular! It was more hilly than expected…

Today we walked 19 miles and must have been around 4-5000 feet.
