Nice to meet you Tonto

I've had a really lovely day today. In the afternoon I met Tonto for coffee and we had a wander through Glasgow's town centre to get some blips. This is the second time in less than a week that I've met another blipper who I only knew previously through their journal. (Last week I met Audrey and you may remember the blip.)

It feels a little strange setting out to meet someone you've never met before and both times I felt nervous to begin with and had a lovely time. Thanks Tonto, for a great afternoon. I know that sleepyduck would love to meet up with you proper some time so hopefully we can all get together and with more blippers some day.

I have many more photos which I still have to go through and which I'll upload to Flickr. As Tonto pointed out, I filled my memory card. I may link to the best on tomorrow's blip. In the meantime I have a couple of other pictures of Tonto:

My experience today meeting Tonto and last week, meeting Audrey, just confirms my feelings about the blip community and that there are a whole lot of really nice and interesting people. It's great that our mutual interest in photography gives us a head start in any social encounter.
