Wildlife crossing

There are several of these walkways across the Pacific Highway around Taree and Port Macquarie. The idea is to encourage arboreal animals whose territory is on both sides of the highway to stay aloft and not venture onto the road. Cars are a leading cause of death and injury for koalas.
