Song Thrush

I could hear this beautiful bird from our garden. I knew it was in a tree along the lane, but the call was so clear, and so melodic, I decided to go and try and grab a photo. 

It did not hesitate or pause it's song even when I stood almost directly below.

I took several shots with the camera and big lens, and the light was great so I managed a few decent pictures from a difficult angle, and this was the best of the bunch.

The song was immense. I wondered what he was singing about.

Most likely exulting in the warmth of the sun and the deep blue skies...


Whilst on my walk I captured yet another view from my side of the valley, looking across to the heights of Clee Hill and Abdon.  It was a nice view and worthy of a photo, in my humble opinion...
