At this time of year when we are lucky enough to have a sunny day I find the woodland always lifts my spirit. as the contrast between the brightly lit trees and the long raking shadows creates an environment that is full of of interest. And yet the reality is almost graphic in its simplicity, multiple lines of light and shade.
