Oh no!

Imagine my dismay early this morning at seeing this long-haired cat in the oak tree, just at the spot where I’ve been monitoring the bluetit activity.

Here he’s looking handsome, almost as though he’s posing for the camera (although he was unaware of my presence because I was indoors). However, in extras you can see a shot of him with his head close to the spot where the bluetits have been seen, looking intently down at something.

I’m trying to remain positive, but it’s not easy …
