This Way Up

I've had a productive day so far - booked an Ocado delivery for the weekend, done the lawns (first time this year, I'm so pleased I switched to an electric mower last year) and been for a nice walk, the woodyard circuit.

I'm always looking out for something different to blip so I was pleased when I spotted this horseshoe in an adjacent field. There was a stile next to it but I had to climb over a wall to get to the stile. The blip shows mrsfb in the background anxiously wondering if I am going to be able to get back over the wall :-)

So which way up should a horseshoe be hung? This way I think, to collect and retain good luck. I should have scooped some out. Some say that the other way with the open end facing down allows the good luck to spill out. 

I forgot to say yesterday that Heisenberg the hedgehog is back in occasional residence. He/she wasn't there this morning which was good as I was able to refill the food dish. Yesterday I couldn't find it - I think it was being used as a bed.

I did include this in the camera club treasure hunt evening last season. I can't believe that this season (my second organising it) is coming to an end soon. Another thing I managed to do this morning was to book the final speaker for next season. I'm well ahead of the game!
