The Clump With No Name

In the landscape around us there are several named ‘clumps’ of trees. There is Knockhill Clump. There is Poachers’ Clump. There is Priestcraig Clump to name just a few.

The area of Woodland shown in today’s entry has no name. Perhaps there is an upper limit to the size of a named clump.

Folklore does suggest that there was a cottage near this woodland which was called Twinkletree.

I will refer to it as Twinkletree Clump.
