Rainbow tabbouleh

A colourful supper cheered up Mr hazelh after a very frustrating day at Jack's house. He was there to set up Jack's new computer. Mr hazelh's only breaks were to attend an evening talk at the library on dark matter, and to watch yesterday's University Challenge (with its thrilling ending) on the iPlayer. He continued his work remotely very late at our kitchen table.

I was also very busy. This morning I started the day with my usual morning exercise, chatted with my overnight guests over a long (in time, not food!) breakfast, cleared/tidied up, filled our pond and tended to our compost, prepared supper, and went for a run. After a quick shower and lunch, I rushed up the road to meet (recently widowed) Frances for tea and chat at Oqo. After this, I had just enough time to pop home for a quick turnaround and then head out again - this time to the library - to meet Mr hazelh for the talk.

I'm glad that I prepared our supper well in advance. Otherwise we might have ended up eating at midnight.

Exercise today: 1 hour on the exercise bike; 5k run; walking (16,420 steps).
