Police helicopter

When we take the grandchildren home on a Saturday afternoon I  usually blip something that J has made, but not today.  As we left their driveway there was a Police helicopter hovering in the sky above.  The police College is about 2 miles from J's house so perhaps someone was practising their flying skills or they may be monitoring the horrendous holdups caused by roadworks a mile from J's house - caused by electrifying the railway line to East Kilbride .  Rail passengers are being ferried to Glasgow by bus  and the problem will intensify this week as work is due to begin on reinforcing the railway bridge a few miles from East Kilbride   I am so pleased that I no longer have to travel for work.   -
