Determined to post a flower blip I drove to Dalemain near Penrith. First a walk along the track to see the deer but they weren’t in their usual place. Then back to the cafe for coffee and biscuit before a wander around the gardens. There are lots of benches so I enjoyed sitting in the sunshine as well as taking photos. 

The flowers have been relegated to extras because I liked the squirrels on the front doorstep.

This is the furthest I’ve driven in a day since the saga last October when the AA man was insistent I try driving the car after he’d had to disable  the power steering to get it to start. I didn’t realise it was going to cause me so many problems with my upper arms and shoulders. Not helped by the inactivity of winter and probably too much sitting with the iPad, recovery took a long time. Hope this is the start of travels out of the local area.
