First a walk down the hill to post a birthday card and chat with the garage about another problem (fortunately not an expensive one). Back home for a mug of tea then I drove to Grasmere while I knew I’d find a parking space. The daffodils in the daffodil garden didn’t give a photo I was happy with, although they gave a good show at a distance. The crocuses were flattened and I’m sure there were a lot more hellebores in recent years.

Around the corner to St. Oswald’s church where the sun lit the tower giving a much better photo to blip.

Finally to the Co-op where I bought a pie for tea to go with the vegetables that need using up, and treated myself to a bunch of tulips and a bottle of red wine.
