They've Hatched!!!!!!! Stage two!

I have been keeping an eye on the progress of the Large White eggs ...... when I looked a couple of days ago the eggs seemed to be changing colour.

Today when I checked I could see what looked like black dots ....... so I fetched the camera & took some shots ....... this is the result. The eggs have finally hatched!

They are soooooooo tiny it is impossible to see them with the naked eye ...... the whole group together measures less than 5mm across!!!!!!

I'm sure they will soon be big enough to see. I'm hoping to be able to get more shots as they grow ...... as long as they stay here anyway! So .... as they say ...... watch this space!
