Three Reservoirs
Managed to get up to do a dawn raid today. The sunrise was quite good - rather than spectacular, and anyway, I failed to find a good location to capture it. However, as I drove on, I spotted a hare in a field and managed to stop to try and get a better view. The hare disappeared, but then I noticed that I had stopped at the perfect vantage point for the view I had been after. Ironically, I had to wait for about 45 minutes for the sun to get up high enough to illuminate it.
In the foreground is Agden, the middle one is Dale Dyke, of Great Sheffield Flood fame and the far one is Strines, just above and to the left of which you can see Boot's Folly, (view large for this) constructed by Charles Boot in 1927. On the horizon in the top left, you can see Win Hill.
