Cookie time

I had a short but sweet visit with my great friend, Sally. She and her family are back in Laramie for the funeral of her mother-in-law. It's been a long time since I've seen her kids and it was nice for a quick catchup. Sally came over to see the house and we had more of a visit. We both are in despair over the state of our country. Her family has been impacted by the decisions being wrought. It's maddening and terrifying.
In between I baked peanut butter cookies for a get together that I will be having at my house on Tuesday. It will be a little house warming party, which will be appropriate because it's supposed to snow that day.
