A Robins Tongue

I actually took this photo a couple of weeks ago but when I was processing the images today I saw the robins tongue.
Apparently robins have a triangular tongue to help them catch & hold insects, worms & small prey.
J & I spent this morning in the garden but it was really cold. We’re trying to kill the goat willow stump by burning it out, we drilled the stump then made a small bonfire in & around it, it seems to be working but we’re not 100% sure that this will kill it.
J continued to work on fixing the gates whilst I tidied the garden & kept the fire burning.
