Stookie

On Friday my grandson had pretty major surgery on his knee. He's been very brave and, now home, is going to be allowed a lot more screen time than usual. His leg is going to be in the stookie (plaster cast) for a few weeks. He has the loan of a zimmer frame and a wheelchair - both the right size for a five year old. 

He and his mum had two nights in hospital and now the recovery and rehabilitation can begin. We paid a brief visit this afternoon. He had asked for a red cover but it had all been used. Fortunately he wasn't too bothered by the green.
