Nice sky

Another day around the house and garden.  I did some sewing and some fluting.  And then helped W putting together the back and sides of the compost bins.

On returning to the house, I saw the rather nice sky.  Whilst taking the photo, noticed the pond pump wasn't running - and we then realised the entire house was powerless.  ESB website told us of a problem locally, promised restoration by 1800 - in fact it was earlier than that.

Annoyingly, it seems the underfloor heating control has no resilience, so a power cut turns the settings back to the inbuilt auto settings, and it has to be completely reprogrammed - something else to think about replacing soon.
