Sometimes . . .

. . . it’s little bits of technology that totally amaze me. For example, the ‘Find My’ App. This evening I was just wondering whether Gordon was on his way back from the football in Carlisle - and there he was driving along the A66 and I knew exactly where he was. Of course I know it’s his phone that my phone is connecting with and it’s the phone it’s locating, not him, but even so it’s quite magical. Well, it is to me anyway.

Of course the grandaughters and their mother use this all the time and think no more about it. They did tell us how, when they are waiting for their mother to pick them up, she might send a message to say she’s on her way and they know she hasn’t even left the house!
