Table setting shadows
I had such a busy day lined up today that I had to write down all the timings on a sheet of paper to keep myself on track. I also decided to miss out two commitments: riding on my exercise bike before breakfast, and calling in to see friends at the (newly rejuvenated) Edinburgh Coffee Morning.
I managed to fit in:
1. A pilates class.
2. An indoor run at the gym.
3. A presentation on campus with Bruce to an audience of archives experts. It all went very well.
4. The review of a document for colleagues in the University's research office.
5. A jolly evening at the triennial dinner of the Royal Society of Edinburgh at the National Museum of Scotland - with Mr hazelh and ArcLight (extra), and my gym friend Mary. (ArcLight has captured the atmosphere of the event really well on her blip for today.)
Much walking connected all the above activities. I have to say that I was greatly relieved when ArcLight suggested that we travel home together by taxi after the dinner.
My blip is the shadow of the flower arrangement on our dinner table at the museum.
Exercise today: pilates class; 30 minute indoor run; walking (23,760 steps including run).
