Rowing on the Thames River
It was lovely to see Tommy last night, and we enjoyed a very good supper out at our local Italian restaurant - I had swordfish which was delicious.
This morning while Tommy went to gym, Gavin and I went to Bushy Park to walk Xena. if you time it correctly you can get there as the Park Run runners are leaving so there is parking available. My goodness it was so cold, an arctic wind and it felt freezing. However when protected from the wind and in the sunshine it felt much warmer.
There were not many interesting birds around, whenever it is windy the birds seem to hide, so I never got the photos there that I expected to get. However, driving home again I saw all the rowers on the river with Hampton Court in the background, so I stopped to get a photo.
Gavin mounted all my prints for me for the next and future camera club print competitions so they are now all ready - he does a far better job than I do.
I applied for my Esta visa to the USA today for our visit to Adam in May, the way things are in the US these days you never know if you will get a visa or not, haha! The application form asks for links to your social media accounts - at least they ask, today prospective employers look at social media accounts before hiring staff without any permission, it's normal practice these days.
Tommy has now gone for a run, Gavin is watching the rugby, and I am about to start preparing supper. A quiet night at home tonight.
