Tatton Park
Friday 7 March
Our afternoon outing took us to another of Bernard’s favourite places to visit, Tatton Park, with its beautiful Japanese Garden. He also loves the walled kitchen garden, but of course there wasn’t much to see there this time of year. I was disappointed there wasn’t more in the way of Spring flowers like there had been at Dunham Massey last week, but it’s always a beautiful place to walk around. It’s also a great place for plane spotting, since it is close to Manchester Airport, so R will always have his Flight radar app on, seeing where all the planes are going to and from! We enjoyed tea and cake in the cafe before returning home. Before we left, we drove around the deer park, where we did see a couple of herds of deer.
