Celebrating Leicester

Despite not feeling 100 % we drove into Leicester to view Light Up Leicester, a sound and light show sponsored by several Leicester organisations. 

It was stunning. A pity that it ends at 10 pm on Saturday night but then I suppose the idea is to draw in lots of people.

This installation was called Evanescent, inspired by the transience of bubbles. The son et lumière on the front of the cathedral was magnificent.

Len moaned the whole time we were out because, he, poor soul, hadn't a clue where he was, but he enjoyed  the lights.

Basil stayed with George and Kat until we picked him up. I hope they manage to see something of the display.
