The Octagon

The Octagon is an eight sided residential tower in Birmingham just behind the library. Over the two years that we have been travelling there for Len's medical trial, we have watched it grow. I wonder if anyone will live there or is it just for investment?

This was the three month follow up appointment for Len with the usual medical tests and psychological assessments. It was a bit sad saying Goodbye to Alex, the lead psychologist. We have been meeting since Len started trials in 2018. He'd only just started work there. According to him and the doctor, I should have been started on my bone treatment straight after surgery in 2023. Ah well.

No sign of the overflowing bins that are gracing Brum during the refuse collectors' strike. Perhaps the obvious signs are all being removed. Wouldn't make a good impression on visitors.
