Klara (The Epicene Butcher)

Today I managed to find myself having to cycle up two of the steeper roads in Edinburgh, one of which I had the pleasure of doing twice. Partially on company business, and also to attend an interesting lecture at the University. So pleasantly surprised I didn't have to push the bike home.

Also pleasantly surprised I managed to flag down this subject. She wasn't handing out leaflets so may have been on her way to her performance. Which seems to have some kind of Japanese Manga theme, so she seemed quite delighted by the background for this shot. Amazingly, I didn't think of that when I formed the shot in my head; I thought it just made a cool background!
