Buds and lichen

I saw the bright yellow lichen  before l saw the buds.  A sunny day but not very warm.  
I picked up son and D-i-L at the station after their long overnight flight, so lovely to see them and give them a hug.  They went off to see the Arsenal for the evening.  Oh the energy of the young!
I received an invitation for my 'Spring covid vaccination', l am booked in for 10:30 on 6th April.
