Geese

I went over to Boxer's lake to see what was happening in the bird world.  Not a lot, the least amount of birds l have ever seen there l think because of the noise caused by two men digging up the road with a pneumatic drill.  I saw a heron standing sentinel by it's messy nest, a couple of swans and these two geese.
Our youngest son arrives home today on a flying visit from America, he and his wife will be with us until Saturday when they fly to Ireland for surprise birthday party for her dad.
