After the rain and hail...
A cooler day but still sunny this morning, and it stayed dry for our group golf lesson as we were outside at the chipping green. After lunch we had a few spots of rain but nothing for the garden to get excited about.
I spent a good chunk of the day deciding on which entries to submit to two exhibitions, one being for my camera club's annual exhibition and the other for the annual exhibition of the photography group of the RAC Club. Those have now been sorted and I need to drop off the mounted prints at the RAC Club tomorrow.
In the afternoon it was very sunny so I decided to take Xena out again for a walk. When I got to the woods about 5 minutes later the skies darkened and we had rain followed by a lot of hail. I sat in the car with Xena waiting for it to finish, and when it did the sun came out again. This image is of the lovely light after that rain and hail.
I also started packing my camera bag as I am going to Dorset next week Monday with Guy Edwardes again - hopefully it won't be as physically demanding as the Skye trip!
