Bit of a cheat blip!

Stephen took this yesterday Tuesday 11th, at 15:51.
On my 4th day after my surgery,
It’s good to have a record of how things are gradually progressing,
This time it was just 4 days Post Op.
I was very happy yesterday having had a shower.
And thankful that we had a walk in shower installed earlier last year. It has made such a difference.
A friend of mine who lives just up the road has been this afternoon along with a beautiful Kalanchoe plant for me.
She brought me her photo album of her recent 5 day trip to Italy with a group. Two days in Verona and 3 days at the Venice Biennale.
I really enjoyed looking at all the pictures and hearing her account.
We sampled some Fruit cake which has arrived by post today from “Betty’s” in Harrogate, and also the box contained some Betty’s sugar coated milk chocolate eggs, My sister, who lives in Knaresborough, had sent them.
I had a long FaceTime chat with her mid afternoon yesterday.
A mixed day for weather.
At the moment the sky has almost cleared outside, after some afternoon showers.
(I just had to break off from what I was writing as there was a ring at the doorbell)
Stephen went to answer it and it was the lovely Blipper Rainette en route back home with Geoff. She had brought two beautiful bunches of colourful tulips, It was a lovely surprise.
They are now in water in a couple of glass vases, looking very cheerful.
I will now finish the mug of coffee which is to hand. Stephen has just replenished it and warmed it up!
