Great day today! M and I headed off to town to pick up a few holiday bits (suncream and a Frisbee!) and run some errands; we then decided to play a quick game of golf before settling down with the tennis. What a match! We moved the TV out into the garden and sat with M’s Mum, Dad, sister and sister’s boyfriend, shouting encouragement at Murray. This was everyone as he won his 3rd set and wrote his name in the history books. Everyone was very excited!

I feel like I should say, though, I’m a bit offended by this ‘no British Wimbledon winners in 77 years’ malarkey... It’s really only true if you don’t count the FOUR women who have won it since 1977. So really, we’ve only had to wait 44 years. Yep, still a long time. But just goes to show women in sport aren’t to be underestimated.
