Oamaru-Waimate-Christchurch
We are now back in Christchurch for the final days of our trip. We still have a few treats in store.
My main Blip is what I think Blip offers to us all. Journals give us a glimpse of where others live and if we're lucky we will manage to visit these near or far places. Waimate is one such place that I was inspired to visit because it was Blipped by rainie, it is her birthplace. The silos looked interesting enough to do a little detour away from the SH1. I'm glad we did.
Apart from the silos the town is quite impressive with a lovely Main Street that looks like it has been there for generations. My collage includes what I thought was a very nice looking police station, the tin roof over the side is so typical of many places.
The other images were included because they appealed to me. the sign was included because rainie has actually Blipped veggies today. the old children's prams reminded MrsS of her childhood.
The extra shows some images taken this morning as we left Oamaru. It was wet...
