Lighthouse at the top of the north

Back home now.  As l sit in bed listening to the rain - and the blackbird that starts singing outside our window every morning at ridiculous o'clock, I have time to reflect on my latest and last trip home.  What wonderful people we met,  from old school friends and their families who accomadated and fed us to flat mates from late teen years to old friends who have stood the test of time.  I enjoyed meeting up with blippers in Wanaka for cups of coffee and chats - and thanks for passing on local knowledge.  At the top of the south Vik1 and AndrewNZ who gave their time over food in the Boat Shed restaurant  and then a quick tiki tour of the wharves (Andrew, l did get one of those Antipodean bottles- a blip one wet day).  Lastly but not least Miffy and Mac for a great pizza out at Mahua and a trip around the area.  Good luck to you all and thank you.

The extra today is of the departure board at Auckland International Airport, l love travelling and find arrival and departure boards fascinating, where are all these places and what goes on there?  We are up there  ready to check in.
