curns' corner

Just a few weeks to go ...

I dialled in for a meeting mid-morning, and some others joined, but it was very quiet. Then we all realised we were missing the big technology ‘all hands’ and quickly jumped across. I may have missed some important stuff and must catch up as soon as the recording is published.

I did catch up on an information session from the start of the year covering a topic I am trying to learn about. I asked Google Gemini to clean up the meeting’s transcript, and it turned the forty-minute meeting into a ten-minute passage, which was then read to me. That would have been a great timesaver if I hadn’t heard the whole meeting.

After work, I headed out to buy some pork to make a stir-fry and use up some of the spring greens that have been in the fridge for over a week. They are starting to look a little sorry for themselves. As I headed to Waitrose, I snapped another picture in the heart of Raynes Park to add to the #ChangingHighStreet collection. I thought the lights looked great in black and white. I know I’ve previously used a black-and-white picture of the Raynes Park Tavern, but I haven’t posted something like this for a while. It won’t be dark at half past six in a couple of weeks, and I’ll have a whole season to wait before I can take a photo like this at this time of day.
